PAWATHON
Pawathon is the biggest fundraiser event of Save Paws, aimed at helping dogs in need. The first edition was held on March 31st and received an overwhelming response with almost 150 entries and 20 pets. This fun run is open to all age groups, and there is also a run for pet owners and their dogs. This year, the event managed to raise 80,000 rupees, which has the potential to change the lives of 100+ dogs. We are excited to make Pawathon a yearly event and continue to make a positive impact on the lives of dogs in need

About the event
The event was a blast for all the dog lovers out there! It was amazing to see how many people were touched by the cause of street dog welfare. The day kicked off with a pets run at the crack of dawn, followed by a Zumba session to get everyone pumped up for the 5km human run. The winners got some sweet awards, and the finishers got medals and certificates. The coolest thing was that the whole was sponsored by the community, from the medals to the breakfast, bandanas, and goodies. Big shoutout to everyone who supported me to make it happen!
